The most recent reconsideration occurred during the council meeting of September 19, 2011.

During the prior meeting, we voted 7-4 (Jones, Hutcheson, Derrivan, and O'Brien opposed) to approve a $45,000 CPC funding request for a Moseley to Maudslay trail connection. Subsequent to that meeting, Councilors Cronin and Ives wrote they wanted their votes reconsidered -- so during the Sept 19 meeting, that order was referred to committee and in the weeks since it was decided by the mayor/planner not to go forward with that project but to use the money for a rail trail extension instead, so when we voted Oct 31 the voting was different.

Reconsiderations happen from time to time.

I've never heard of a City Councilor doing this before. Does this mean that the process was way too short for something that is such a big deal? I don't know what the procedural stuff is on something like this.
